My sisters and I got together this weekend after a very long time apart. Unfortunately we live all over the country – me in Delaware, my sister June, in North Carolina and my sister Susan, in Alabama – so we don’t see each other often.

This painting is available on ebay for bid now. It’s a 16×20 canvas….I won’t say which one is me….

“Blue Angels”

I painted all weekend….This 18×24 painting was one of the last paintings that I completed yesterday. It was one of the hardest …I worked for a long time on the background….

I crackled the background..first a layer of black, then a layer of crackle medium. Then another layer of blue paint. I decided the blue was too bright so I painted several layers of paint over the crackle to tone the blue down. I am pretty happy with the way it turned out.
